Netflix Selects Perfect Performer for Bentham in the Hit Series Season 3

Netflix announced this week that the skilled actor is now part of the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will play Mr. 2. The actor, who is gender non-conforming and goes by they/them, will portray a version of that character reinterpreted as non-binary, rather than as a drag queen, in the live-action show, unlike the source material and cartoon version.
This performer joins several other fresh additions set to bring Baroque Works to life, featuring leader the main antagonist, played by the seasoned performer, a talented actress as a key member, and a familiar face, who will appear as the ensemble as King Nefertari Cobra of the fictional land.
Though this character is a important part of Baroque Works, the persona won’t appear until One Piece the third season. Given the second season expected to adapt the Little Garden storyline, this represents a notable change in the schedule of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could indicate more adjustments to the plot development.
