Ex- Physician Charged with Sexual Assault Charges Involving Thirty-Eight Patients

Prosecutors have stated that a former physician now faces charges for committing assaults involving 38 individuals who were under his care.

The Grave Allegations

The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of numerous acts of sexual assault – some of which involve some against children younger than 13 – spanning the period from 2017 to 2021.

The charges come after what investigators called a “detailed inquiry” into alleged assaults at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.

The defendant is due to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.
